Sample Description and Analytical Conditions

    Each element has its own experimental conditions (Accelerating Voltage and/or Beam Current). Elements can be measured by either EDS or WDS. Elements not measured can have their compositions Known, calculated by Difference or by Stoichiometry.

Example of a Peak Integration analysis with Quantitative Interference

Below V Ka is measured by Peak Integration.

The same element (V Ka) interferes with the Kb X-ray line of Ti.

    The menu defined the Interferences for each element measured (maximum five interferences per element). Note that each element which interferes is associated with a standard, this will allow the correction program to calculate the real intensity of the element measured.
